Terms & Conditions
All goods remain the property of Organza.
Organza will not be responsible for injury or damage to persons or property arising from the goods hired.
The customer will be responsible for the goods during the period they are on hire and will be responsible for insuring the goods from time of acceptance until return and acceptance back to Organza.
A deposit of 25% of the full order is due on acceptance of the quote. This will be refunded to the customer within 14 days after the event should there be no damage to the goods.
Shortages/damages will be charged at the full replacement value and no substitute item will be accepted. Should we receive damaged goods, the customer will be informed within 14 days of the event.
The customer may request, in writing, the return, and will be responsible for the cost of postage of, any damaged goods within 14 days of Organza informing you of any such damage. The damaged goods will be disposed of after the 14 days.
Organza reserves the right to charge for loss of profit on the future hire of the damaged goods.
Goods must be available for collection at the venue unless otherwise arranged with Organza.
Prices quoted are for one days hire only except delivery and collection where applicable. Further days will be charged at a rate agreed prior to the event.
Wet covers or sashes must not be placed in plastic bags as this may cause further damage to the goods. Should this happen, Organza reserves the right to charge for the full replacement cost of each damaged item.
Requested samples shall be returned within 14 days. An extension to this period can be requested, however, any delays in returning or non-returned goods will be charged at full replacement value.
Organza can offer recommendations regarding sizes, colours of cloths, sashes and chair covers to be used, however Organza accepts no responsibility if such items are not suitable or to the customer’s personal taste. If in doubt the customer must request samples.
Organza will make every effort to deliver and collect at the times / dates specified, in the event booking, however will not accept liability if times / dates cannot be complied with, due to conditions beyond their control.
Additional charges may apply for travel expenses depending on the location of the venue. This will be quoted and charged at the time of order.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the venue is ready at the times stated. Any delays can result in further charges or abandonment.
In the event of cancelled bookings, a cancellation charge will be levied by Organza. These are:
Cancellation within 14 days of the event – full payment required minus deposit.
Cancellation within 6 weeks of the event – 50% of full price required minus deposit.
Cancellation at any other time – deposit will not be refunded.
Final payment is required in full 14 days prior to the event. Please note if payment is not received 14 days prior to the event, we will presume that our services are not required and a cancellation charge (full payment minus deposit) will be due.
Final payment is based on confirmed final numbers. If these numbers differ on the event day, additional chair covers and sashes will be charged for and deducted from the deposit.
Any monies due after 28 days of invoice will be passed to our collections agency for recovery and charges will be levied to you the customer.
